POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Report to work on time in a clean and complete proper uniform
• Greet all customers with a smile and a verbal greeting
• Promptly seat the guests by knowing seating availability and wait list; talk with guests on the way to the table
• Provide menus and present specials to guests.
• Stay available to guests and keep an eye out for servers who may need help
• Ask guests about their meal and experience and thank them for coming in. Invite them to return.
• Answer the telephone within 3 rings and ask permission to place on hold.
• Help with bussing and resetting tables
• Check restrooms for cleanliness every 30 minutes
• Complete the position checklist while stocking and preparing the unit for the next shift.
• Using all tools provided by the manager keep the work area clean at all times.
• Bring all items of concern to the attention of the manager immediately, especially safety concerns and customer service complaints
• Know your duties and the duties of coworkers to maximize teamwork throughout the day.
• Communicate effectively with other team members.
• Have a positive attitude during your shift.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift
• Work as part of a team and help in other areas if need be
